Professionals Shop

Situated behind the first tee, the well stocked Professionals Shop is the first point of call for many playing the course.

From Left to Right: Our Head Professional Richard Gregory, Head Teaching Professional Gareth Davies and PGA Assistant Tom Perry are experienced in both coaching and custom fitting and are on hand to help clients achieve the best from their golf and equipment. Golf lessons and custom fitting sessions are available to both members and non-members.

Richard has been coaching for over 15 years and helps all standards of golfer from beginner to elite level. Group sessions are also available, including the very popular Ladies Golf Academy.

The Pro shop is an authorised Callaway, PING and Mizuno custom fitting facility and uses the latest technology in all custom fit appointments. The Professional team also offer club gapping sessions, golf ball fitting and on-course playing lessons.

As a member of Foremost Golf, Richard stocks a wide range of products in the golf shop, including – Titleist, Footjoy, Bridgestone, Srixon, Callaway, Odyssey, Mizuno, PING, Skechers, Bunker Mentality, Galvin Green, Glenmuir, Rohnisch, Motocaddy, YOB Golf, GolfPride, Sunwise, and Garmin.

The golf shop also offers a club repair/regripping service with a wide range of products available.

Buggy and Trolley rental is available to members and visitors.

Coaching and Practice Facilities

Our Head Teaching Professional is PGA professional Gareth Davies. Gareth is a former European Tour player and twice a winner on the European Challenge Tour. During his career he has played all over the world and worked with some of the top coaches in the game. He has been recognised both regionally and nationally during his PGA training and is adept at passing on his knowledge and experience to all levels of player.

Coaching is available to both members and non-members, either individually or in groups and players can benefit from one of the area’s best practice grounds and short game facilities. Use of video technology and Flightscope can enhance the learning experience for clients and we even have 2 covered hitting bays in case of any inclement weather.

The team are keen to grow the junior section and groups are run on Saturdays throughout the year and Monday nights throughout the summer months. Please contact the professional shop for any enquiries, or email

Our large practice area ensures there is always space for lessons and practice. An enclosed area is offered for coaching to ensure you can keep your lessons going whatever the weather, and a well contoured practice chipping green and green side bunker is available to target the short game skills.
